The hard drive is where all information is stored on your computer. Be it the Windows operating system, programs you install, or files you download and create on the computer. Everything is stored on the hard drive. When selecting a hard drive to install into your computer there are two basic features you need to consider. They are the capacity and the speed of the drive. Capacity Capacity is how much data a hard drive can store. Capacity is measured in Giga Bytes and Tera Bytes. 1 GB is made up of 1000 Mega Bytes. 1 TB is made up of 1000 GB. To give you an example of how much you can fit into 1 GB of hard drive space, take a MP3 audio file. The average MP3 audio file takes up 5 MB. Divide 1000 by 5 and you get 200. So 1 GB of hard drive space can store 200 MP3 music files. A 1 TB hard drive, which is 1000 GB can store 200000 MP3 music files. The size of the drive you choose is up to you. Generally you should buy the biggest drive you can afford. We recommend at least a 750 GB drive. Speed: The speed of the hard drive is determined by the revolution speed of the disk inside the hard drive and the amount of memory cache included in the drive. 1990 IBM Personal System/2 Model 30 286

The model 30 286 was on the low end of IBM's PS/2 lineup, with a 10 MHz 80286 processor, 1 megabyte of RAM (expandable to 4 MB), the standard ISA bus (not Microchannel), a 20 MB hard drive, and built-in VGA graphics. DOS runs fine, but Windows 3.11 is quite sluggish due to the slow hard drive and lack of memory. I also show how I replaced the original Dallas DS1287 clock/battery chip with a DS12887, so now it won't keep forgetting the time and date every time I turn it off. The DS1287 is long out of production, and the DS12887 is the replacement, which should work fine in most computers. You can also literally hack into the DS1287 chip, disconnect its dead internal battery, and install an external battery to get it working again -- see uxwbill's video for information and instructions: www.youtube.com

Run WBFS manager 3. Load the drive in WBFS (F:) 4. Drag the image (.iso file) of the wii game onto the right hand box and click ADD TO DRIVE 5. To extract an image, right click on the file and select EXTRACT ISO 6. To get a list of the games on your drive, right click and select EXPORT LIST TO FILE

Internal workings of a 2.5" laptop hard disk

faulty Seagate 20GB laptop hard disk opened up and plugged in to external HDD controller. You can see the read/write head moving accross the spinning platter but the disk does not initialise properly with the head clicking. Windows recognises that the hardware (PCMCIA drive controller) is installed but the drive cannot be accessed. When the drive is removed, the head automatically parks.

I now have the Z12 with i5 core - i used the much easier method described below V UPDATE: did it wayyy easier this time. Go on ebay and buy a thinkpad T400 caddy, i got one buyitnow 12bux. Just open the z, and take out cd, and the thinkpad tray fits perfectly. There ia tiny 1.5mm x 5mm gab in one corner but its not a big deal. The screws wont fit and some folks drilled holes in the Caddy for placement. I didnt screw it in, it fits tightly enough when you put the keyboard on. Unless your laptop bashes the floor, it'l stay in. What you need: 1. This is the cord you need: www.newegg.com 2. 1 spare Sata power plug, you will need this to swap the original power plug on the cord to a Sata one since Sata HDDs take sata power. Just do this by connecting the corresponding color wires. Has it really been 6 months since my last vid?! *hugs subscribers* Well, I'm back with a new Clark/Lois vid, which I just HAD to make after I heard this beautiful song on Harper's Island. I'll be posting my Btvs vids once I finish ripping my DVD's. I lost almost all of my clips when my external hard drive crashed. :( Summary: Set after the finale. Lois goes poof with the Legion ring but Clark assumes she's dead, presumably as a casualty of Doomsday's 'rampage' since she never showed up at the phone booth. Of course with her gone, he FINALLY admits to himself how much she means to him and basically this vid is him missing/mourning her. I know Clark's all "I am dead", but I still threw in a little Chloe/Clark moment with them consoling one another because I was seriously dissatisfied with the way they reacted to Lois's disappearance in that final scene. Random note: I'd promised myself to never get attached to Smallville's Clois ever again after the events that occured mid season, but I just can't help it. Clois is in my blood. Heh. And not to be overly dramatic or anything, but honestly, there are only two couples in the entire fictional universe that I am completely emotionally invested in and one of them is Clois (I grew up watching LnC and StAS, not to mention the movies, etc), so my anger at Smallville's treatment of Clois and particularly Lois in the back half of this season was... there are no words. Seriously, that finale - WTdamnF. I ...
